Thank you for your interest in celebrating your Marriage at one of our Parishes.

Your marriage is one of life’s great joys and we congratulate you on wanting to make a commitment to each other in front of God and your families. Both of our churches are popular for weddings so we recommend booking at least 10 months in advance to ensure your preferred date is be available.

Given the number of requests for weddings, it is not possible for Father Gerard to celebrate all the weddings that take place in our churches. If you reside outside our parishes, you are welcome to book one of our churches but we request that you approach your own Parish Priest to celebrate your wedding in the first instance.

Please note that we no longer book Weddings on a Sunday in either of our Churches.

There are two ways to be married at St Thomas’ or St Patrick’s:

1)  Book one of our churches and be married by your own Priest

If you would like to be married by your own Priest or a visiting Priest in one of our Churches, please complete a Wedding Booking Form and a have your Priest complete a Protocols for Celebrating Weddings Form and return both forms to the Parish office at [email protected].

Once we have received your completed forms, we will arrange an appointment to discuss your wedding. All the information regarding weddings in both our churches can be found below and we encourage you to read these terms and conditions carefully please. Details regarding fees and charges are also in our Information documents.

Please note that St Thomas has an agreed Sacred Music Policy that you should read carefully prior to booking. Details are contained in our Information for your wedding at St Thomas of Canterbury 2022 document below. Without exception you are not able to bring your own musicians to either St Thomas or St Patricks.

Please Note: No booking will be confirmed until we have received a signed booking contract, written confirmation that a Catholic Priest or Deacon has agreed to marry you, and your Church donation has been received.

2) Be married in one of our churches by Father Gerard Woo Ling.

If you would like Father Gerard to marry you, he would like to meet with you in the first instance to discuss your intentions. Please contact the Parish Secretary on (02)9798 6016 to arrange an appointment. Please note we are not able to hold dates or confirm any arrangements until all required paperwork had been completed and signed. Thank you for your understanding.
