Each year thousands of people struggle in winter as the temperatures drop and staying warm becomes a real challenge. Our St Patrick’s and St Thomas’ annual Sock Appeal for those in need starts in June and we need your help to make a difference to someone’s feet this winter.

Collection boxes will be at the entrance to both Churches during June and we would appreciate your donation of new, unworn socks please. If you prefer to donate money which can be used to purchase socks, please place your donation in the collection in an envelope marked ‘socks’ and we will purchase socks on your behalf.

We are also collecting cash donations to purchase custom made sleeping coats on behalf of the Order of Malta. Further details are on the Social Justice noticeboard at St Patricks.
